Tonawanda Book signing ~ Fan art

Today, I sat at my daughter's kitchen table in Tonawanda, New York talking to friends who stopped by to purchase a book and/or get their book signed, choose a button, a book plate and enjoy a cup of tea. It was wonderful to re-connect with old friends and answer their questions about the story while hearing stories of their own.

[Of course Rumel came along to greet the guests!]

One of my favorite parts of today was getting to see Jeannie's vision of  the character, Nate as he was pulled toward the wall of water and his body separated into scattered dots that fell like rain. He became part of the mist and began to fuse with the wall of water that was so large it resembled Niagara Falls.

Please send me your fanart and I'll post it here on the blog with a description of the part of the story you are illustrating.

Book Signing at Spring into Warner May 14th 2016

My First Official Book Signing May 14th 2016 at the Beehive in Warner, NH (Thank you Sandy and Kay!)
Me wearing the Snitch
May 14th 2016 was my first book signing at the Beehive in Warner during the Spring into Warner festival. It was lovely to see old friends from WCA and Bear Writers along with meeting new friends who stopped by to sample the Wombat Juice, Maple Sponge candy and to draw a character. I hope you enjoy the characters they drew as much as I do...and I hope to see more new friends at the Library Arts Center later this month for my official book launch in Newport. Keep watching for the date! One of my favorite things that happened today was getting to spend time with Lilah who created the window display and gave me a snitch!
Lilah cut out all the letters and taped them to the window of the Beehive
Rumel helped point out the pins and stickers
